Algoza Solutions OPC Private Limited ("we", "us", "our") operates the AlgoOCR desktop application and the website algoocr.algozasolutions.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Email address — provided when purchasing a subscription or requesting a token resend.
• Machine ID — a hardware-derived identifier used to bind your subscription to your computer. It is generated locally on your device and does not contain personally identifiable information.
• Payment information — processed entirely by our payment partner Razorpay. We do not store your card number, UPI ID, or bank details on our servers.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage metadata — number of documents converted, page counts, and conversion timestamps. This data is stored locally on your device and used only to enforce plan limits.
• Application logs — error logs stored locally on your computer for troubleshooting. These are never transmitted to our servers unless you voluntarily share them with support.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect, read, store, or transmit the content of your documents. All OCR processing happens through encrypted API calls, and no document data is persisted on our servers.
• We do not use cookies on the AlgoOCR website for tracking or advertising purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your subscription.
• To deliver activation tokens to your email address.
• To verify subscription status when the desktop application starts.
• To communicate important service updates or security notices.
• To respond to your support requests.

3. Data Storage & Security

• Subscription records (email, machine ID, plan type, expiry date, encrypted token) are stored in a secured database hosted in India.
• All data in transit is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.
• Activation tokens stored on your device are encrypted using Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI).
• Payment data is handled entirely by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor.

4. Data Retention

• Subscription records are retained for the duration of the subscription plus 90 days after expiry.
• Payment records are retained as required by Indian tax and accounting regulations.
• You may request deletion of your data by emailing info@algozasolutions.com.

5. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian law (Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Withdraw consent for non-essential communications.
